An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Zbyszko Mierzejewski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in 3City United's zone, Zbyszko Mierzejewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asgar Blennild came out of the goal and Zbyszko Mierzejewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boruc Mierzwa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walery Tamulewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 22 played minutes 3City United got a freekick which was hit by I Putu Tu. Stanislaw Rakowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Asgar Blennild tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zbyszko Mierzejewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asgar Blennild having to interfere. Wieslaw Fleischer kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Boruc Mierzwa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Boruc Mierzwa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Walery Tamulewicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KS Grocholice's Walery Tamulewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Mierzwa in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boruc Mierzwa was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Grocholice's goalkeeper Walery Tamulewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute Boruc Mierzwa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Tamulewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes KS Grocholice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was I Putu Tu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to 3City United's Belmiro Pontes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Asgar Blennild showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Mierzejewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Ludomil Jaraczeski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KS Grocholice's Walery Tamulewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Mierzwa in the 75th minute of play. KS Grocholice made a substitution. Patryk Patora replaced Stanislaw Rakowicz. In the 83rd minute, Boruc Mierzwa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 3City United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a little luck, KS Grocholice's Walery Tamulewicz got control of the ball when Boguslaw Marczyniec tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 94 minutes KS Grocholice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was I Putu Tu who took care of the corner kick. I Putu Tu made a great header on 3City United's corner, it was just that KS Grocholice's Walery Tamulewicz managed to reach the ball for a save. The KS Grocholice supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching 3City United's performance. The match ended with a win for 3City United.
