Spectators: 1920 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's goalkeeper Leon Chodzinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tolek Fabiszak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonard Dres having to make a save. The referee gave Górnik Zabrze a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eugeniusz Kluska, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's Leon Chodzinski. 0-1. Herbert Jajecznica took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Chodzinski. Leon Chodzinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Norbert Zapolski made in the 18th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cezary Brzeszczak however managed to control. Herbert Jajecznica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Waclaw Topolski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Górnik Zabrze's supporters rose to their feet, but Waclaw Topolski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Chodzinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute Herbert Jajecznica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Chodzinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Herbert Jajecznica had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leon Chodzinski. KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Jajecznica was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Herbert Jajecznica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's Leon Chodzinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Jajecznica in the 39th minute of play. Norbert Czerniejewski kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Herbert Jajecznica took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Chodzinski. Leon Chodzinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Leon Chodzinski came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Górnik Zabrze's Waclaw Topolski. But to his dismay, Waclaw Topolski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 58 minutes into the game, Herbert Jajecznica cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Leon Chodzinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's Leon Chodzinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA from getting a goal against them. KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's Leon Chodzinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Rostow in the 66th minute of play. Leon Chodzinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Jajecznica, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Herbert Jajecznica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's Leon Chodzinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA from getting a goal against them. Herbert Jajecznica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Górnik Zabrze's Herbert Jajecznica got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Herbert Jajecznica came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Górnik Zabrze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Jajecznica couldn't finish the play. Leon Chodzinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Jajecznica went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Górnik Zabrze's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
