The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Kempka during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Perthnam getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Waldemar Kempka hit a great ball. Artur Tipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Domaradzki in the 19th minute of the match. Roch Ziombkowski got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Witalis Kensicki. After some careless play in the Royal Griffins Academy defense, Eugeniusz Mentus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Tipinski. The Royal Griffins Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Tipinski should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Royal Griffins Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Mentus came free, but Artur Tipinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylwester Sokolski might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wincent Czerniejewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sylwester Sokolski ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrzej Mios hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Artur Tipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Mentus in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Mentus in the 39th minute of play forced Royal Griffins Academy's goalkeeper Artur Tipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Marian Domaradzki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Artur Tipinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugeniusz Mentus to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Marian Domaradzki made a precise shot to the right of Artur Tipinski. Royal Griffins Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Marian Domaradzki succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 60th playminute. Marian Domaradzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Karp threw the ball into play from the sideline. Perthnam's Waldemar Kempka quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Marian Domaradzki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Artur Tipinski made a huge save. Artur Tipinski came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Perthnam's Rafal Sadlowski. But to his dismay, Rafal Sadlowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marian Domaradzki got free with Artur Tipinski in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Marian Domaradzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Perthnam's Eugeniusz Mentus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Artur Tipinski. Artur Tipinski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. In the 93rd minute, Marian Domaradzki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artur Tipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Mentus in the 95th minute of play. Artur Tipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Domaradzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
