When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Herbert Jajecznica sped through LZS Passat's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulises Uxio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Jajecznica in the 28th minute of play forced LZS Passat's goalkeeper Ulises Uxio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Górnik Zabrze's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio de Souza came free, but Ulryk Tylenda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Jajecznica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulises Uxio having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Jajecznica got free with Ulises Uxio in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of LZS Passat booed when Górnik Zabrze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugeniusz Kluska didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Waclaw Topolski notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of LZS Passat's Ulises Uxio. Ulises Uxio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the game, Waclaw Topolski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Górnik Zabrze's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LZS Passat the free kick. After 91 played minutes Górnik Zabrze got a freekick which was hit by Waclaw Topolski.
