The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sarp Canatan hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute of the match Keijo Järvensivu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alonso Chapado skillfully saved the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Eugeniusz Misiorowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alonso Chapado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alonso Chapado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Pietrowski in the 13th minute of the match. Roch Leper hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. OSP Nietążkowo's Alonso Chapado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Witkowski in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Emil Lepucki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonso Chapado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 21st match minute, LIVERPOOL1972 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maciej Pietrowski to maneuver through the defense. If Emil Lepucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in OSP Nietążkowo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! In the 28th minute there was a penalty for LIVERPOOL1972. Leszek Witkowski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alonso Chapado. 0-3. If Maciej Pietrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The LIVERPOOL1972 fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when LIVERPOOL1972's Leszek Witkowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alonso Chapado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Lepucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmund Witek struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Zé Paulo Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OSP Nietążkowo. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Maciej Pietrowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. LIVERPOOL1972's supporters rose to their feet, but Maciej Pietrowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonso Chapado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Edmund Hludzenski made a precise shot to the right of Alonso Chapado. OSP Nietążkowo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 44th minute, Cyprian Kieca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of OSP Nietążkowo booed when LIVERPOOL1972 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugeniusz Misiorowski didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leszek Witkowski was the one to do the kick off. Maciej Pietrowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alonso Chapado came out and tried to block the shot, but Maciej Pietrowski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 52nd minute. In the 61st minute of the game Edgar Piczak made a throw-in which Dariusz Chlapowski played forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Lepucki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alonso Chapado. That made the score 0-7 in the 62 minute of play. When Leszek Witkowski came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the LIVERPOOL1972 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leszek Witkowski couldn't finish the play. LIVERPOOL1972 made a substitution. Napoleon Skrzypiec replaced Edmund Hludzenski. Edmund Witek charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Witek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Edmund Witek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, OSP Nietążkowo's Alexey Kanin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 83rd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Keijo Järvensivu hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Keijo Järvensivu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, OSP Nietążkowo's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Witkowski came free, but Alonso Chapado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Emil Lepucki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alonso Chapado. The goal made the score 0-8. The OSP Nietążkowo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LIVERPOOL1972 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
