When Eugeniusz Adamczak fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costinha Team's protests and gave Eugeniusz Adamczak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, one of Costinha Team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costinha Team. Stefan Frodyma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Edgar Jekot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beniamin Marczyniec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tymoteusz Zawaski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Sakowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Jekot was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the game, Costinha Team's Szczepan Kaczor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Jekot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Klopsztanga Radzionków's Tymoteusz Zawaski got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Kaczor in the 35th minute of play forced Klopsztanga Radzionków's goalkeeper Edgar Jekot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryszard Ziemniak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Beniamin Marczyniec skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wincent Madajczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Costinha Team got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Wierzbicki. Beniamin Marczyniec made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Alfred Zawadzki sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Ryszard Ziemniak took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Beniamin Marczyniec to make any attempt to save it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryszard Ziemniak made a kick off. Beniamin Marczyniec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaba Noworolnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dariusz Wierzbicki in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Jekot saved Klopsztanga Radzionków from getting behind. In the 56th minute Ryszard Ziemniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beniamin Marczyniec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szczepan Kaczor hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Ryszard Ziemniak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beniamin Marczyniec. Costinha Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryszard Ziemniak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Klopsztanga Radzionków were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Costinha Team for a fine match.
