Mikolaj Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawid Mlekodaj in the 3rd minute of play. Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute of the match, Thomas Vollmar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcus Jonasson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pankracy Malicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Vollmar in the 12th minute of play. A hard shot 13 in the game by Thomas Vollmar from a close distance when the talented Marcus Jonasson managed to make a qualified save. CZĘSTOCHOWA FC's players were relieved. In the 15th minute of the match Newcastle United got a corner. CZĘSTOCHOWA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zé Paulo Zonta ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 15th minute, Adam Pacholewski fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Marcus Jonasson. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peng in the 20th minute of play. Marcus Jonasson was a little too slow when Pankracy Malicki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pankracy Malicki got free with Marcus Jonasson in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by CZĘSTOCHOWA FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zé Paulo Zonta was slow to take the kick. During this time Newcastle United's players had a chance to rest. Marcus Jonasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 35th minute. Thomas Vollmar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Marcus Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes CZĘSTOCHOWA FC got a freekick which was hit by Jerzy Sroki. Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcus Jonasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pankracy Malicki in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Peng made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Kochniarczyk in the 54th minute of play forced CZĘSTOCHOWA FC's goalkeeper Marcus Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Pacholewski kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Thomas Vollmar notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of CZĘSTOCHOWA FC's Marcus Jonasson. Marcus Jonasson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 63 minutes of play, Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Jonasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Josef Meduna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Jerzyk having to interfere. A collision led to Newcastle United getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Kajetan Kochniarczyk hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the game, Dawid Mlekodaj was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CZĘSTOCHOWA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newcastle United the free kick. Dawid Mlekodaj kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Marcus Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Vollmar, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. CZĘSTOCHOWA FC's Marcus Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 79th minute of play.
