In the 8th minute of the match, Sebastian Huratiak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bogdan Spychalski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 10th minute Bartosz Olejniczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Calero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Saturn Świętochłowice's Bartosz Olejniczak in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennart Schalkwijk during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Saturn Świętochłowice got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Schalkwijk. Robert Grabowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bogdan Spychalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Grabowiczs short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Bogdan Spychalski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Bartosz Olejniczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saturn Świętochłowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartosz Olejniczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saturn Świętochłowice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olaf Dziurowicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Nendza SSA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Nendza SSA's Ryszard Olender to fire away a dangerous shot which Bogdan Spychalski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Nendza SSA's Robert Grabowicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bogdan Spychalski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 64 minutes into the match, Nendza SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Bartosz Olejniczak came free, but Miguel Calero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Saturn Świętochłowice's zone, Aureliusz Skoroda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Spychalski came out of the goal and Aureliusz Skoroda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th match minute, Saturn Świętochłowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Lato to maneuver through the defense. When Saturn Świętochłowice's Bartosz Olejniczak in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nendza SSA's goalie prevented a goal. Bogdan Spychalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliusz Skoroda in the 71st minute of the match. Nendza SSA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olaf Dziurowicz in the 73rd minute. With an all-out effort, Saturn Świętochłowice's Miguel Calero threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartosz Olejniczak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Miguel Calero was a little too slow when Bartosz Olejniczak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-3. The audience was convinced that Bartosz Olejniczak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Calero was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Grabowicz in the 86th minute of play forced Saturn Świętochłowice's goalkeeper Bogdan Spychalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Saturn Świętochłowice's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Grabowicz came free, but Bogdan Spychalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Grabowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Grabowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Robert Grabowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturn Świętochłowice played a much better game than Nendza SSA and deserved their victory. The Nendza SSA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
