Edmunds Vaivaris shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Saturn Świętochłowice's Bogdan Spychalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmunds Vaivaris in the 13th minute of play. Edmunds Vaivaris scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Spychalski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jiang Bin Liang during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. LKS Skołyszyn's Edmunds Vaivaris got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to LKS Skołyszyn getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Filip Fikus hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Edmunds Vaivaris made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Saturn Świętochłowice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmunds Vaivaris who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on LKS Skołyszyn's corner Raimundo Palianza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bogdan Spychalski quite easily take care of the ball. Edmunds Vaivaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Spychalski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Palianza in the 90th minute of play forced Saturn Świętochłowice's goalkeeper Bogdan Spychalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Edmunds Vaivaris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogdan Spychalski. Saturn Świętochłowice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmunds Vaivaris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
