The coaching staff of GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wincent Wierzcholek had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Wincent Wierzcholek got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Tolek Jaks came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ferrari. fans jumped to their feet. Daniel Fudalej made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Iwan Jerzyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
