Olaf Hodas came out of the goal and Daniel Abellan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kazimierz Lepper might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timo-Fabian Rogowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kazimierz Lepper ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute, Harry Blomqvist made a precise shot to the right of Olaf Hodas. ◄19A10► Widzew Lodz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Polonia Bytom's Timo-Fabian Rogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Lepper in the 22nd minute of play. Timo-Fabian Rogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Lepper, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. But to his dismay, Daniel Abellan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 41st minute, Luiz Eduardo Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Polonia Bytom's goalkeeper Timo-Fabian Rogowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaroslaw Cetnar. 44 minutes into the match, Harry Blomqvist notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of ◄19A10► Widzew Lodz's Olaf Hodas. Olaf Hodas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 46 played minutes Polonia Bytom got a freekick which was hit by Szczepan Furtok. After 47 played minutes ◄19A10► Widzew Lodz got a freekick which was hit by Kazimierz Lepper. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Lepper in the 64th minute of play forced Polonia Bytom's goalkeeper Timo-Fabian Rogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Patryk Michalski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olaf Hodas. Patryk Michalski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 71st match minute, Polonia Bytom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izydor Zworski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Abellan in the 78th minute of play forced ◄19A10► Widzew Lodz's goalkeeper Olaf Hodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Abellan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patryk Michalski struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Olaf Hodas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polonia Bytom.
