The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dobromir Cwojdak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Eugeniusz Sochacki made a huge save. JUNICO Ełk's Eugeniusz Sochacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Bromley in the 6th minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Yu Hui Peng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.'s Przemyslaw Karpinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th match minute, JUNICO Ełk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Liermann to maneuver through the defense. Eugeniusz Sochacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Yu Hui Peng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Przemyslaw Karpinski having to make a save. Yu Hui Peng might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Przemyslaw Karpinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yu Hui Peng ran back to his position shaking his head. MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.'s Przemyslaw Karpinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Hui Peng in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yu Hui Peng in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Przemyslaw Karpinski saved MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp. from getting behind. Yu Hui Peng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Przemyslaw Karpinski having to make a save. Przemyslaw Karpinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Hui Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Yu Hui Peng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Przemyslaw Karpinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eugeniusz Sochacki was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Konrad Radzyminski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Konrad Radzyminski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The throw-in from Bogdan Raschke in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by JUNICO Ełk's Mick Jagger. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Orling in the 47th minute of play forced MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.'s goalkeeper Przemyslaw Karpinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Bromley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zbigniew Orling succeeded in the game's 51st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Przemyslaw Karpinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Hui Peng in the 56th minute of play. Yu Hui Peng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Przemyslaw Karpinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. When JUNICO Ełk's Yu Hui Peng in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.'s goalie prevented a goal. After 65 minutes of play, JUNICO Ełk's Zbigniew Orling made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Przemyslaw Karpinski was left in no man's land by his defense there! JUNICO Ełk's Teofil Mirowski was substituted for Yu Hui Peng. JUNICO Ełk's João Félix was substituted for Zbigniew Orling. If Teofil Mirowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Przemyslaw Karpinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofil Mirowski in the 75th minute. Eugeniusz Sochacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Cwojdak in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, JUNICO Ełk's Teofil Mirowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Teofil Mirowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Przemyslaw Karpinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Przemyslaw Karpinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Mirowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofil Mirowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.'s goalkeeper Przemyslaw Karpinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as JUNICO Ełk's Teofil Mirowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Przemyslaw Karpinski. That made the score 1-7 after 93 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Teofil Mirowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Przemyslaw Karpinski to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. JUNICO Ełk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
