In the 23rd minute, Kazimierz Lepper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ◄19A10► Widzew Lodz's Damian Puchlik managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aristides Emesto in the 26 minute of the game. Lech Chodzinski kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. ◄19A10► Widzew Lodz's Olaf Hodas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save ◄19A10► Widzew Lodz from getting a goal against them. Olaf Hodas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Vieri in the 32nd minute. When Nankatsu's Christian Vieri in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 38thth minute of the game Damian Kendra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ◄19A10► Widzew Lodz's Olaf Hodas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th match minute, ◄19A10► Widzew Lodz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Puchlik to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, ◄19A10► Widzew Lodz's goalkeeper Olaf Hodas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Vieri. ◄19A10► Widzew Lodz's Olaf Hodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Gomolka in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kazimierz Lepper made a kick off. Cyryl Poniewaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Olaf Hodas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stasio Kordalewski kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Christian Vieri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olaf Hodas skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaroslaw Cetnar during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Olaf Hodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Gomolka in the 63rd minute of play. Dobromir Komanski hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Zygmunt Gomolka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stanislaw Fronczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kazimierz Lepper's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. The supporters of Nankatsu booed when ◄19A10► Widzew Lodz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachary Marosz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stasio Kordalewski kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Zachary Marosz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislaw Fronczak having to interfere. A collision led to Nankatsu getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Aristides Emesto hit a great ball. Olaf Hodas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Chodzinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes in the game, Kazimierz Lepper fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Stanislaw Fronczak having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Kazimierz Lepper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nankatsu's Stanislaw Fronczak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, ◄19A10► Widzew Lodz's Damian Puchlik got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Nankatsu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
