A collision led to Dąbrowa Górnicza getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dani López hit a great ball. Jaroslaw Owsiak came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Nankatsu's Damian Kendra. But to his dismay, Damian Kendra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Dąbrowa Górnicza's zone, Damian Kendra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaroslaw Owsiak came out of the goal and Damian Kendra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th match minute, Dąbrowa Górnicza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliusz Maurycy to maneuver through the defense. Jaroslaw Owsiak came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Nankatsu's Damian Kendra. But to his dismay, Damian Kendra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After the first half Nankatsu were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Vieri was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Christian Vieri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jaroslaw Owsiak. That made the score 0-5 in the 54 minute of play. Nankatsu's Christian Vieri was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 57th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Damian Kendra might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaroslaw Owsiak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Kendra ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Nankatsu's Damian Kendra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaroslaw Owsiak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Christian Vieri notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Dąbrowa Górnicza's Jaroslaw Owsiak. Jaroslaw Owsiak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aristides Emesto charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Emesto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
