Dawid Debowski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tytan Wisznice fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! A collision led to Stal Sanok getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ari Hakanpää hit a great ball. Wlodzimierz Majczyk struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Sune Rudberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tytan Wisznice. Hieronim Lamczyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Cui Liang Xiong came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Stal Sanok fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cui Liang Xiong couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Stal Sanok's goalkeeper Sune Rudberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerzy Barys. After a rather tough play, Stal Sanok's Uriel Ariando got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Stal Sanok had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
