When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
After 53 minutes, Marian Kornecki made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Narew Łomża's Andrzej Juchno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marian Kornecki might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrzej Juchno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marian Kornecki ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Popowicz in the 61st minute of play forced Narew Łomża's goalkeeper Andrzej Juchno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marian Kornecki in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrzej Juchno saved Narew Łomża from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Narew Łomża's Walery Kojder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Witalis Mleczewski. That made the score 5-1 after 69 minutes of play. The supporters of Demptowo booed when Narew Łomża was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Gongola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes Narew Łomża got a freekick which was hit by Damian Puzio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Wielgopolski in the 97th minute of play forced Narew Łomża's goalkeeper Andrzej Juchno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Demptowo had played much better football throughout.
