The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evandro Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Sorin Slătineanu made a huge save. In the 22nd minute Waclaw Radziszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Slătineanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Franciszek Kosiorek managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Margonin SA's Hieronim Rykaczewski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
