With an all-out effort, GKS Katowice's Godfredo Lamberto threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cezary Kasiewski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Godfredo Lamberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludomir Zacharek's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Godfredo Lamberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Kasiewski in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Piotr Fleischer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of GKS Katowice booed when Koszarawa Żywiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that GKS Katowice were the better team. GKS Katowice's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
