Spectators: 7724 (Terracing: 5794, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) Krzysztof Dulemba started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jedrzej Soszka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdzislaw Walczyk in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, Silesia Opole was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Furlit to maneuver through the defense. THE FAVOURITES's Krzysztof Dulemba got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in THE FAVOURITES's zone, Wasyl Dec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jedrzej Soszka came out of the goal and Wasyl Dec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, THE FAVOURITES's goal looked a bit too open when Wasyl Dec came free, but Jedrzej Soszka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, THE FAVOURITES's Rafal Kowalski got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jedrzej Soszka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Walczyk in the 21st minute of play. Jedrzej Soszka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Kempka, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Wasyl Dec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Julian Gozdowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wasyl Dec took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jedrzej Soszka. Jedrzej Soszka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 36th minute, THE FAVOURITES's Lucjan Madajczyk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jakub Fujarczuk. Jakub Fujarczuk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 40th minute Olgierd Kempka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Soszka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Olgierd Kempka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jedrzej Soszka was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olgierd Kempka to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Wasyl Dec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 played minutes THE FAVOURITES got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Dembowski. Julian Gozdowski was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Silesia Opole's Zdzislaw Walczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jakub Fujarczuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Dulemba, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in THE FAVOURITES's zone, Olgierd Kempka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jedrzej Soszka came out of the goal and Olgierd Kempka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jedrzej Soszka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wasyl Dec in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dawid Dembowski during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th match minute, THE FAVOURITES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawid Dembowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Julian Gozdowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Soszka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jedrzej Soszka made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Zdzislaw Walczyk sent off a good shot on target. Wasyl Lato kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, THE FAVOURITES's goalkeeper Jedrzej Soszka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Gozdowski. In the 77th minute, Silesia Opole's Julian Gozdowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jedrzej Soszka. Jedrzej Soszka yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wasyl Dec got free with Jedrzej Soszka in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 83 minutes, Marcin Falkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silesia Opole's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcin Falkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Silesia Opole booed when THE FAVOURITES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Penczkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Marcin Falkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Soszka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Silesia Opole's Marcin Falkowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Silesia Opole's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
