Radoslaw Redisz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iwan Bentkowski during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 15 minutes into the match, Ipswich Town's goalkeeper Pankracy Wolczewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Tarasek. FC LSG were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Ipswich Town's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Szymon Iwaszko took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dobromir Gongolewicz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pankracy Wolczewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pankracy Wolczewski came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by FC LSG's Szymon Iwaszko. But to his dismay, Szymon Iwaszko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Zenon Chodzinski kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Szymon Iwaszko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Wolczewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 42nd minute, FC LSG's Szymon Iwaszko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radoslaw Redisz to strike the kick off in the second half. Ipswich Town's Radoslaw Redisz got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC LSG's Norbert Klejnowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Redisz in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Dawid Bara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ipswich Town's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC LSG the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Kalak got free with Norbert Klejnowski in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute Radoslaw Redisz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Klejnowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Dulka during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Filip Dulka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radoslaw Redisz in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norbert Klejnowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, Ipswich Town's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Iwaszko came free, but Pankracy Wolczewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roman Tarasek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pankracy Wolczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Iwaszko in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Tarasek in the 94th minute of play forced Ipswich Town's goalkeeper Pankracy Wolczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC LSG had won after a very even match.
