Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olgierd Kempka kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Wasyl Dec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silesia Opole fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. THE SIMS's Ludomir Jankowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Szostak in the 6th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Julian Gozdowski took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ludomir Jankowski to make any attempt to save it. Wlodzimierz Paciuszko's late challenge caught a Silesia Opole's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wlodzimierz Paciuszko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, THE SIMS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Paciuszko to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Herbert Szostak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ludomir Jankowski. That made the score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. If Wasyl Dec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wasyl Dec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomir Jankowski having to interfere. Ludomir Jankowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olgierd Kempka's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. THE SIMS's Ludomir Jankowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save THE SIMS from getting a goal against them. Leszek Oliszewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ludomir Jankowski came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Silesia Opole's Julian Gozdowski. But to his dismay, Julian Gozdowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Wasyl Dec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute, Silesia Opole's Zdzislaw Walczyk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wit Paciuszko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Silesia Opole was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Gozdowski to maneuver through the defense. Ludomir Jankowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Gozdowski in the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Silesia Opole's goalkeeper Jakub Fujarczuk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Roman. Ludomir Jankowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Walczyk in the 61st minute of play. Herbert Szostak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zenon Dziurowicz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ludomir Jankowski came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Silesia Opole's Wasyl Dec. But to his dismay, Wasyl Dec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. THE SIMS's Ludomir Jankowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdzislaw Walczyk in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Olgierd Kempka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silesia Opole's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olgierd Kempka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Wasyl Dec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silesia Opole fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Silesia Opole walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
