The Pogoń - Tur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Wozniak should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Pivkinsi's Dariusz Cielencki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerzy Wozniak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The corner led Pivkinsi's Waclaw Kisielka to fire away a dangerous shot which Jerzy Wozniak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Jedrzej Fleszar sped through Pogoń - Tur's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerzy Wozniak. With his leg Fred Zuid managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Pogoń - Tur's Marian Zywiec fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Pogoń - Tur's Tiaguinho Eger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fred Zuid. That made the score 1-6 after 47 minutes of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Zywiec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Dariusz Cielencki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerzy Wozniak was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pogoń - Tur's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 64th minute, Jedrzej Fleszar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waclaw Kisielka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Pogoń - Tur's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Cielencki came free, but Jerzy Wozniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerzy Wozniak made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Witalis Rakowski sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Pogoń - Tur's goalkeeper Jerzy Wozniak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jedrzej Fleszar. The supporters of Pogoń - Tur booed when Pivkinsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Rakowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Witalis Rakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Wozniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Wozniak made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Jedrzej Fleszar sent off a good shot on target. Pivkinsi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
