Dariusz Piwko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Michel Mesnier in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Piast Chęciny's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Michel Mesnier came free, but Dariusz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, KS RUCH CHORZÓW's Max Unzaga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Piast Chęciny's Dariusz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Domaracki in the 26th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Piast Chęciny got a freekick which was hit by Ignacy Augustyniak. Zachariasz Nowacki was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. Piast Chęciny:s Dariusz Piwko showed great skill when he stopped Izydor Sanocki:s penalty. Dariusz Piwko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Sanocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Jean-Michel Mesnier took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dariusz Piwko to make any attempt to save it. Dariusz Piwko was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Izydor Sanocki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Izydor Sanocki really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

KS RUCH CHORZÓW made a substitution. Przemyslaw Kochowski replaced Ryszard Domaracki. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean-Michel Mesnier to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Jean-Michel Mesnier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dariusz Piwko was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, Piast Chęciny's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Michel Mesnier came free, but Dariusz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that KS RUCH CHORZÓW were the better team. KS RUCH CHORZÓW's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
