The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, FC ŁÓDŹ's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Jazwiec came free, but Jacek Prus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacek Prus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Przybylo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC ŁÓDŹ's Jacek Prus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdzislaw Jazwiec in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Raprerzy Nowy Sacz's goal looked a bit too open when Pankracy Prusinowski came free, but Erik Pihl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC ŁÓDŹ defense, Zdzislaw Jazwiec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacek Prus. The FC ŁÓDŹ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacek Prus should have stopped the shot. Jacek Prus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Przybylo in the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC ŁÓDŹ defense, Tomasz Cholewa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacek Prus. The FC ŁÓDŹ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacek Prus should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, Waldemar Mruk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match, Pankracy Prusinowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erik Pihl saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jacek Prus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Jazwiec in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Zerde in the 35th minute of play forced FC ŁÓDŹ's goalkeeper Jacek Prus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wojciech Zerde scored 0-5 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacek Prus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacek Prus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Przybylo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Zdzislaw Jazwiec notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of FC ŁÓDŹ's Jacek Prus. Jacek Prus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Waldemar Mruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Raprerzy Nowy Sacz were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pankracy Prusinowski to make the kick off. Erik Pihl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Prusinowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Raprerzy Nowy Sacz's Zdzislaw Jazwiec got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Wojciech Zerde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacek Prus. Wojciech Zerde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Zdzislaw Jazwiec kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacek Prus. That made the score 0-8 in the 59 minute of play. After some careless play in the Raprerzy Nowy Sacz defense, Pankracy Prusinowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Pihl. The Raprerzy Nowy Sacz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Pihl should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, Wojciech Zerde reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacek Prus. The goal made the score 1-9. In the 69th minute, Szymon Bycofski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A long shot from Teofil Bulkiewicz in the 70th minute of play was well struck, but Jacek Prus made a really good save at the right post. FC ŁÓDŹ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Roland Przybylo scored to the left of an out of position Jacek Prus, making the score, 1-10. Wojciech Zerde did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-11 to the left of a surprised Jacek Prus 75 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC ŁÓDŹ's Jacek Prus got control of the ball when Roland Przybylo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC ŁÓDŹ getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Radowit Gleba hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes, Raprerzy Nowy Sacz's Teofil Bulkiewicz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacek Prus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Raprerzy Nowy Sacz reached it. In the 83rd minute, Roland Przybylo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacek Prus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-12. In the 85th minute, Waldemar Mruk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacek Prus. The goal made the score 1-13. After a rather tough play, FC ŁÓDŹ's Konstanty Raszek got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
