After a defensive mix-up in Tomitak Wrocław's zone, Lucjan Waselenczuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Noworolnik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mariusz Motyl's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tomasz Noworolnik firmly grabbed it by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Tomasz Noworolnik successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 45 played minutes Górnik Rokitnica got a freekick which was hit by Ksawery Czysty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariusz Motyl made a kick off. In the 51st minute Mariusz Motyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Noworolnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Tomitak Wrocław was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Gorzkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Tomitak Wrocław's goalkeeper Lookman Loody had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boruc Raszek. Lookman Loody showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Waselenczuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Eugeniusz Tyskie put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tomasz Noworolnik. When Eugeniusz Tyskie came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Tomitak Wrocław fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugeniusz Tyskie couldn't finish the play.
