The crowd rose to their feet as Barcelona's Boruc Gierlach slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wladyslaw Iwanowski. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francesco Totti in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leszek Cichocki saved Barcelona from getting behind. Leszek Cichocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Totti, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 75th minute Francesco Totti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leszek Cichocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Aureliusz Glozor could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Leszek Cichocki however easily saved by the left post. Francesco Totti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Barcelona's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Francesco Totti 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. Barcelona's Leszek Cichocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Glozor in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Wydrych came free, but Leszek Cichocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aureliusz Glozor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aureliusz Glozor made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 95thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Leszek Cichocki would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Czorni's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
