An unexpectedly hard shot by Abe Habenicht in the 3rd minute of play forced Czorni's goalkeeper Dariusz Bury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abe Habenicht might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dariusz Bury. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abe Habenicht ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute, Teofil Rzegotka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Śląsk Katowice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 16th of the match, Francesco Totti tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Antoni Walaszkiewicz got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 18th minute, Teobald Wiatrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Czorni were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Śląsk Katowice's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Norbert Wydrych took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Norbert Wydrych got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antoni Walaszkiewicz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Śląsk Katowice getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jan Awizo hit a great ball. The Czorni players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Śląsk Katowice were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Aureliusz Glozor made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliusz Glozor in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antoni Walaszkiewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Śląsk Katowice's Marek Bronicki was substituted for Teofil Rzegotka. Antoni Walaszkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Czorni's Francesco Totti got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marek Bronicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Salgado in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dariusz Bury, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Śląsk Katowice's Marco Amaral managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Artur Dziedelonis in the 83 minute of the game. Czorni's Dariusz Bury tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Czorni made a substitution. Rúben Rijo replaced Aureliusz Glozor. Dariusz Bury showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Bronicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute of the match Śląsk Katowice got a corner. Czorni's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Amaral ran over to the corner to take the kick. Śląsk Katowice's Marco Amaral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dariusz Bury in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the final whistle sounded Śląsk Katowice left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Czorni.
