Waldemar Dlugi's late challenge caught a Borowa Rzeszów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Borowa Rzeszów's zone, Kryspin Brack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbigniew Bielejewski came out of the goal and Kryspin Brack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Ruzicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Thidén in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Borowa Rzeszów defense, Inocente Cross kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbigniew Bielejewski. The Borowa Rzeszów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbigniew Bielejewski should have stopped the shot. ⭐ KS Sosnowiec ⭐'s Jan Ruzicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Pawlak in the 31st minute of play. If Inocente Cross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Ruzicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslaw Sienkowski in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, ⭐ KS Sosnowiec ⭐'s goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Siwek came free, but Jan Ruzicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, Borowa Rzeszów's Tim Thidén made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Ruzicki was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the game, Kryspin Brack recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zbigniew Bielejewski. Kryspin Brack showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofil Siwek was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes ⭐ KS Sosnowiec ⭐ got a freekick which was hit by Damian Wyrostek. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Wawrzyniec Waselewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borowa Rzeszów's supporters rose to their feet, but Wawrzyniec Waselewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Ruzicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Jan Ruzicki managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Borowa Rzeszów's Teofil Siwek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 63rd minute, Inocente Cross left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ⭐ KS Sosnowiec ⭐ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 74 minutes of play, ⭐ KS Sosnowiec ⭐'s Kryspin Brack made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbigniew Bielejewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! ⭐ KS Sosnowiec ⭐'s Jan Ruzicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save ⭐ KS Sosnowiec ⭐ from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Teofil Siwek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan Ruzicki. That made the score 4-3 in the 83 minute of play. Borowa Rzeszów's Rodolfo Incendio was substituted for Teofil Siwek. After a rather tough play, ⭐ KS Sosnowiec ⭐'s Arturo Danel got a free kick in the 87th minute. Wawrzyniec Waselewicz missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 89 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jan Ruzicki right hand side. 91 minutes into the match, ⭐ KS Sosnowiec ⭐'s goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Pawlak came free, but Jan Ruzicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wawrzyniec Waselewicz hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Witold Borucki's late challenge caught a Borowa Rzeszów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 95th minute, Witold Borucki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ⭐ KS Sosnowiec ⭐ had won after a very even match.
