In the 15th minute, Czeslaw Milko made a precise shot to the right of Dariusz Grucza. Astra Halemba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 18 minutes into the game, Cyryl Siwek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dariusz Grucza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dariusz Grucza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikolaj Dula in the 22nd minute of the match. The corner ended in Kajetan Lepper almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Manchester United's Slawomir Domaradzki did a great save. Dariusz Grucza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogumil Pisarcik, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Astra Halemba's Dariusz Grucza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Milko in the 39th minute of play. Napoleon Kapelski took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dariusz Grucza. Dariusz Grucza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 44th minute, Tytus Balonek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dariusz Grucza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 47th minute Napoleon Kapelski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Grucza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zbyszek Pankiewicz was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Astra Halemba's Dariusz Grucza got control of the ball when Mikolaj Dula tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Wlodzimierz Budrewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dariusz Grucza. That made the score 0-9 in the 60 minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slawomir Domaradzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Lenertej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Aureliusz Sochacki got a free kick in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Astra Halemba's Boleslaw Bara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Slawomir Domaradzki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-10. In the 85th minute, Antoni Ziomkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikolaj Dula succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-11 in the 88th playminute. If Mikolaj Dula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Aureliusz Sochacki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dariusz Grucza. Aureliusz Sochacki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-12. After 96 played minutes Astra Halemba got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszek Pankiewicz. When the match was over Manchester United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Astra Halemba throughout the match.
