After 13 played minutes Wisła Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Bondel. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ryszard Kopacz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaga Białystok's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryszard Kopacz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Dei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wisła Kraków's Fernando Dei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phạm Tan in the 18th minute of play. Fernando Dei came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaga Białystok's Phạm Tan. But to his dismay, Phạm Tan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrzej Puzio during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jaga Białystok booed when Wisła Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Puzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Milosz Odachowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaga Białystok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milosz Odachowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Phạm Tan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fernando Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mariusz Bondel fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wisła Kraków's protests and gave Mariusz Bondel a yellow card for diving instead. 37 minutes into the game, one of Wisła Kraków:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 43 minutes into the match, Jaga Białystok's goalkeeper Bart Bonatz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wincenty Mirowski. After 46 played minutes Wisła Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Puzio.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Milosz Odachowski to strike the kick off in the second half. During the 55th minute of the match Mariusz Bondel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mariusz Bondel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Wisła Kraków getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mariusz Bondel hit a great ball. Andrzej Terasek got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wincenty Mirowski. Phạm Tan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 60th playminute. Phạm Tan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fernando Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Wisła Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Tymoteusz Pluciennik. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Milosz Odachowski in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Dei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 74 played minutes Jaga Białystok got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Kopacz. Fernando Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Odachowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Wisła Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Klawke. Fernando Dei came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaga Białystok's Phạm Tan. But to his dismay, Phạm Tan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Odachowski in the 98th minute of play forced Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Fernando Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
