The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Richard Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jerzy Karp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Nikodemski struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Karol Grunwalski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Byala. Jerzy Karp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigiusz Barciniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The supporters of LZS Iskra Osiek booed when Byala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Munko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karol Grunwalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Nikodemski, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After taking down the ball on Byala's corner Michal Chlebek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karol Grunwalski quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Byala defense, Remigiusz Barciniak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Karp. The Byala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Karp should have stopped the shot. When the match was over LZS Iskra Osiek could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Byala throughout the match.
