Spectators: 7787 (Terracing: 5841, Seating: 1791, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zygmunt Mochowak kicked off to start the match. Patryk Nienajadlo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Patryk Nienajadlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Verduin in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Florian Piczak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patryk Nienajadlo. Karpaty Krosno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florian Piczak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When COSMOS's Nicklas Karlsson in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A well-hit corner resulted in Ryszard Cempa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 17th match minute, COSMOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Kapera to maneuver through the defense. If Isaac Verduin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Nicklas Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Nienajadlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karpaty Krosno's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Prusinowski in the 25th minute of play forced COSMOS's goalkeeper Tadeusz Bielatowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Isaac Verduin made a precise shot to the right of Patryk Nienajadlo. Karpaty Krosno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Karpaty Krosno's Patryk Nienajadlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicklas Karlsson in the 33rd minute of play. Patryk Nienajadlo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Verduin went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Nicklas Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Verduin took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patryk Nienajadlo. Patryk Nienajadlo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Fryderyk Kostka charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fryderyk Kostka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of COSMOS booed when Karpaty Krosno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fryderyk Kostka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Karpaty Krosno's zone, Isaac Verduin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patryk Nienajadlo came out of the goal and Isaac Verduin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patryk Nienajadlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Verduin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karpaty Krosno's Fryderyk Kostka got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Fryderyk Kostka off the ground. After a rather tough play, Karpaty Krosno's Fryderyk Kostka got a free kick in the 45th minute.

COSMOS's Zula Nieruchliwy was substituted for Zenon Kuszczak. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicklas Karlsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isaac Verduin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Patryk Nienajadlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Nicklas Karlsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patryk Nienajadlo. Nicklas Karlsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Nicklas Karlsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Isaac Verduin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Patryk Nienajadlo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tadeusz Bielatowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Mochowak in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Andrzej Juskowiak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patryk Nienajadlo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Florian Piczak was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Zygmunt Mochowak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeusz Bielatowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Przemyslaw Prusinowski in the 79th minute of play. Przemyslaw Prusinowski charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Przemyslaw Prusinowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Karpaty Krosno's Przemyslaw Prusinowski got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 82nd minute, Tomasz Mroczynski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Karpaty Krosno's Patryk Nienajadlo didn't even have to move. If Andrzej Juskowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Przemyslaw Prusinowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walery Kazczyk's late challenge caught a COSMOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walery Kazczyk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Walery Kazczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patryk Nienajadlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Juskowiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Ryszard Cempa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Karpaty Krosno fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. COSMOS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
