Tadeusz Bielatowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Frutos in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Mendebal in the 12th minute of play forced COSMOS's goalkeeper Tadeusz Bielatowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. COSMOS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomasz Mroczynski in the 21st minute. Karol Grunwalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicklas Karlsson in the 23rd minute of play. Tadeusz Bielatowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Siekierka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Remigiusz Barciniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Nicklas Karlsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Karol Grunwalski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th match minute, LZS Iskra Osiek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Rakoski to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Nicklas Karlsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karol Grunwalski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

LZS Iskra Osiek's Diego Markel was substituted for Stefan Rakoski. COSMOS's Zula Nieruchliwy was substituted for Zenon Kuszczak. In the 56th minute, Tomasz Mroczynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LZS Iskra Osiek made a substitution. Richard Olofsson replaced Ricardo Mendebal. COSMOS's Andrzej Juskowiak was substituted for Nicklas Karlsson. In the 60th minute, Andrzej Juskowiak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Verduin took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karol Grunwalski. Karol Grunwalski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 85th minute, Azli Lim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The COSMOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 89 minutes of play, COSMOS's Isaac Verduin made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karol Grunwalski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, LZS Iskra Osiek's Cristo Frutos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 8-1. When Konrad Derlanga fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LZS Iskra Osiek's protests and gave Konrad Derlanga a yellow card for diving instead. LZS Iskra Osiek's Waclaw Buda was substituted for Korneliusz Sobczak. In the 98th minute, Konrad Derlanga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. COSMOS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of LZS Iskra Osiek for a fine match.
