Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Jerzy Karp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicklas Karlsson in the 3rd minute of the match. Isaac Verduin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerzy Karp having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonard Gdaniec during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Leonard Gdaniec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Tomasz Mroczynski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The COSMOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. COSMOS's Nicklas Karlsson got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Byala's goalkeeper Jerzy Karp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jerzy Karp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaac Verduin's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Ryszard Cempa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Karp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 22 played minutes Byala got a freekick which was hit by Wincenty Tokarczyk. Isaac Verduin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Verduin in the 26th minute of play forced Byala's goalkeeper Jerzy Karp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Byala defense, Nicklas Karlsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Karp. The Byala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Karp should have stopped the shot. Nicklas Karlsson took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerzy Karp. Jerzy Karp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After the first half COSMOS were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Nikodemski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Byala's goal looked a bit too open when Nicklas Karlsson came free, but Jerzy Karp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes, Lucjan Munko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Byala and the COSMOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Byala's Lucjan Munko got a free kick in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the game, COSMOS's Nicklas Karlsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerzy Karp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Jerzy Karp made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Azli Lim sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the match, Byala's goalkeeper Jerzy Karp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Verduin. A collision led to Byala getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Zbigniew Poreda hit a great ball. Azli Lim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerzy Karp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. If Andrzej Juskowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute, Byala's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isaac Verduin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jerzy Karp had great luck who in the 81stth minute grab hold of the ball when Andrzej Juskowiak from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Andrzej Juskowiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Karp having to interfere. When Andrzej Juskowiak came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the COSMOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrzej Juskowiak couldn't finish the play. Slawomir Czajkowski hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Azli Lim managed to get in a good position for a shot. COSMOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Azli Lim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Karp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaac Verduin took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerzy Karp. Jerzy Karp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. If Isaac Verduin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as COSMOS's Andrzej Juskowiak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerzy Karp. That made the score 0-10 after 95 minutes of play. In the 99th match minute, COSMOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomasz Mroczynski to maneuver through the defense. COSMOS played a much better game than Byala and deserved their victory. The Byala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
