In the 15th minute of the match ACF Gigliati got a corner. Pogoń Szczecin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karol Kaczorowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jurand Wozniak was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Szczecin's zone, Julian Buczko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Kajfasz came out of the goal and Julian Buczko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliks Szkarpiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Mochadlo in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, ACF Gigliati's goalkeeper Feliks Szkarpiak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krzysztof Mochadlo. In the 26th minute, Pogoń Szczecin's Krzysztof Mochadlo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Feliks Szkarpiak. Feliks Szkarpiak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Pogoń Szczecin booed when ACF Gigliati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Pysz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, ACF Gigliati's goalkeeper Feliks Szkarpiak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Szymon Naskrent. The audience thought a goal was coming when Szymon Naskrent got free with Feliks Szkarpiak in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute Wieslaw Lichucki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Kajfasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Feliks Szkarpiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szymon Naskrent, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, ACF Gigliati's Julian Buczko got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, ACF Gigliati's Julian Buczko fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Marian Kajfasz was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Wieslaw Lichucki kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 70thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Pogoń Szczecin's keeper Marian Kajfasz was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 73 minutes into the match, ACF Gigliati's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Naskrent came free, but Feliks Szkarpiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Buczko ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ACF Gigliati eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
