Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Zygmunt Tyskie started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Vuyani Thokozani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedykt Ziomkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeusz Dec's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adão Vaz firmly grabbed it by the left post. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by G.K.S.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaroslaw Liermann was slow to take the kick. During this time Ave Silesia's players had a chance to rest. Ave Silesia's Jaroslaw Liermann was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adão Vaz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in G.K.S.'s zone, Tadeusz Dec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adão Vaz came out of the goal and Tadeusz Dec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by G.K.S.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaroslaw Liermann was slow to take the kick. During this time Ave Silesia's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jaroslaw Liermann got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adão Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tadeusz Dec came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adão Vaz could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Zygmunt Tyskie put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adão Vaz. Wincent Derlanga hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ave Silesia's Benedykt Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vuyani Thokozani in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, G.K.S.'s Danilo Brodel got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zygmunt Tyskie in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adão Vaz saved G.K.S. from getting behind. Jaroslaw Liermann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adão Vaz. G.K.S.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Hermengildo Peruanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zygmunt Tyskie in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adão Vaz saved G.K.S. from getting behind. Tadeusz Dec struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Adão Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ave Silesia. Tadeusz Dec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adão Vaz having to interfere. Benedykt Ziomkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Polek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Szymon Polek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedykt Ziomkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pankracy Grocholski charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pankracy Grocholski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adão Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeusz Dec in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dariusz Merski to strike the kick off in the second half. Ave Silesia's Zygmunt Tyskie got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dariusz Merski in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedykt Ziomkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benedykt Ziomkowski made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Szymon Polek sent off a good shot on target. G.K.S.'s Adão Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Dec in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vuyani Thokozani got free with Benedykt Ziomkowski in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ave Silesia's Tadeusz Dec got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ave Silesia's Benedykt Ziomkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Ave Silesia from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ave Silesia getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Zygmunt Tyskie hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Szymon Polek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedykt Ziomkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ave Silesia fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Ave Silesia's Zygmunt Tyskie looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Tadeusz Dec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ave Silesia's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeusz Dec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adão Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ave Silesia were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after G.K.S.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaroslaw Liermann took the corner. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind G.K.S.'s goalkeeper Adão Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zygmunt Tyskie might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adão Vaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zygmunt Tyskie ran back to his position shaking his head. Adão Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Tyskie, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Benedykt Ziomkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Polek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Szymon Polek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benedykt Ziomkowski. The goal made the score 3-1. Tadeusz Dec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Many of G.K.S.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. G.K.S. may have spent more time on the ball, but Ave Silesia were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
