After 40th play minutes Witomir Borcz shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Łukasz Fabiansson and just under the crossbar into goal. Witomir Borcz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Łukasz Fabiansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Zanarkand Abes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Niwnice were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Igor Gniech made the kick off in the second half. The corner led to Niwnice's Lech Owsiak getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Edward Spychalski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niwnice's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Spychalski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Łukasz Fabiansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
