Grzegorz Szamotulski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janusz Lamczyk's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. But to his dismay, Janusz Lamczyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janusz Lamczyk in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grzegorz Szamotulski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Borys Gajewski took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grzegorz Szamotulski. Grzegorz Szamotulski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.

Wieslaw Podowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincent Kosowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Janusz Lamczyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grzegorz Szamotulski was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borys Gajewski couldn't finish the play. Puste Kufle Siemianowice's Grzegorz Szamotulski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Lamczyk in the 80th minute of play. Janusz Lamczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Grzegorz Szamotulski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
