Bogdan Kondysar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Rozanski in the 16th minute of the match. Jan Šmídek in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sebastian Igelström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bogdan Kondysar went to the wrong direction when Cyryl Trzemzalski was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 27th minute, Emil Walkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zbyszko Andrzejewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cezary Latkiewicz hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Bogdan Kondysar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Walkowski's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. When Korneliusz Majewski fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored K.S.H Orleta Kielce's protests and gave Korneliusz Majewski a yellow card for diving instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The referee showed Rafal Rozanski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
