After 15 minutes of play, Griffins's Edgar Barniszke made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wasyl Fink was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19thth minute of the game Miguel Chesus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Niecki SA's Wasyl Fink was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgar Barniszke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grzegorz Szkaradek hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Miguel Chesus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wasyl Fink. Niecki SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Chesus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Edgar Barniszke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes of play, Griffins's Lukasz Kaczorowski made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wasyl Fink was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Edgar Barniszke notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Niecki SA's Wasyl Fink. Wasyl Fink was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th match minute, Griffins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Chesus to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Niecki SA's Damazy Rasialdo got a free kick in the 40th minute. Wasyl Fink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Chesus in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Grzegorz Szkaradek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Moryl in the 44th minute of play forced Griffins's goalkeeper Stanislaw Kuszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th match minute, Niecki SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karol Noworolnik to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Griffins were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute Miguel Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Fink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Miguel Chesus made a precise shot to the right of Wasyl Fink. Niecki SA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After 60 minutes, Remigiusz Maurycy made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Niecki SA's Wasyl Fink tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Griffins's Lukasz Kaczorowski was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Griffins's Edgar Barniszke got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mateusz Nalaskowski scored 0-10 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wasyl Fink, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grzegorz Szkaradek hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Boguslaw Raschke fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niecki SA's protests and gave Boguslaw Raschke a yellow card for diving instead. Edgar Barniszke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Chesus got free with Wasyl Fink in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wasyl Fink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When Barnaba Hyska came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Griffins fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnaba Hyska couldn't finish the play.
