Stanislaw Kuszczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cosmos 1984 NewDance. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Przemyslaw Przybylo put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Stanislaw Kuszczak. In the 24th minute, Przemyslaw Przybylo made a precise shot to the right of Stanislaw Kuszczak. Griffins's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 29 minutes of play, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Przemyslaw Przybylo made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 36 played minutes, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Hector Dockx shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stanislaw Kuszczak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cosmos 1984 NewDance reached it. Stanislaw Kuszczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Ikalewicz in the 37th minute of play. Griffins's Stanislaw Kuszczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Ikalewicz in the 39th minute of play. If Milosz Ikalewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Griffins got a freekick which was hit by Barnaba Hyska.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Chesus made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Grzegorz Rydz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Griffins's Barnaba Hyska sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Józef Wandzik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Milosz Ikalewicz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stanislaw Kuszczak firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Przemyslaw Przybylo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislaw Kuszczak made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Milosz Ikalewicz sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th match minute, Griffins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Szkaradek to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Griffins's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Przybylo came free, but Stanislaw Kuszczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Przemyslaw Przybylo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-7. 70 minutes into the match. Griffins's Stanislaw Kuszczak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Griffins from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Przemyslaw Przybylo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanislaw Kuszczak was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Miguel Chesus succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-7. Milosz Ikalewicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Stanislaw Kuszczak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 97 minutes into the match, Przemyslaw Przybylo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stanislaw Kuszczak, 1-8. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
