After a rather tough play, Griffins's Grzegorz Szkaradek got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to Griffins getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Remigiusz Maurycy hit a great ball. Alfred Plucinik made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Lukasz Kaczorowski sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Miguel Chesus could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Alfred Plucinik however easily saved by the left post. Edgar Barniszke received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfred Plucinik came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgar Barniszke slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Alfred Plucinik made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Edgar Barniszke sent off a good shot on target. Don Gobbin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Stanislaw Kuszczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Barnaba Gotfryd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Griffins the free kick. Barnaba Gotfryd hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Klement Spychalski made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Edward Barniszke. The audience was convinced that Miguel Chesus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Plucinik was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Alfred Plucinik made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Miguel Chesus sent off a good shot on target. Stanislaw Kuszczak came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Don Gobbin. But to his dismay, Don Gobbin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Griffins's Miguel Chesus came free and shot a quick shot against goal 41 minutes in the game, fortunately Alfred Plucinik had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 44th minute Lukasz Kaczorowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Plucinik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute Griffins were awarded a corner. Marcin Cerocki went to the cornerflag to take it. Griffins's Marcin Cerocki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfred Plucinik in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Don Gobbin was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Lukasz Kaczorowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Alfred Plucinik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Griffins's goal looked a bit too open when Don Gobbin came free, but Stanislaw Kuszczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Don Gobbin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Jacek Walkowski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jacek Walkowski's late challenge caught a Griffins's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Alfred Plucinik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 80th minute Lukasz Kaczorowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Plucinik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Miguel Chesus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Alfred Plucinik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the match, Griffins's goalkeeper Stanislaw Kuszczak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariusz Wojton. Alfred Plucinik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Chesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Chesus took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfred Plucinik. Alfred Plucinik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1.
