The crowd rose to their feet as Károly Harsányi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stanislaw Kuszczak. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Károly Harsányi in the 25th minute of play forced Griffins's goalkeeper Stanislaw Kuszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Unia Brzezie booed when Griffins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislaw Kuszczak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Unia Brzezie were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Griffins for a fine match.
