A collision led to LKS Lodz getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Juliusz Wozniak hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the game, Wel Lidzbark's Dacian Bejenaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wit Dziechciowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 12th minute, Zygmunt Rybak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in LKS Lodz's zone, Radoslaw Ziombkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wit Dziechciowski came out of the goal and Radoslaw Ziombkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the LKS Lodz defense, Dacian Bejenaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wit Dziechciowski. The LKS Lodz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wit Dziechciowski should have stopped the shot. Wit Dziechciowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Kocieniewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, LKS Lodz's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Kocieniewski came free, but Wit Dziechciowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LKS Lodz's Wit Dziechciowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Ziombkowski in the 19th minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Dacian Bejenaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LKS Lodz's Wit Dziechciowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Wel Lidzbark's Marcin Bartelak got control of the ball when Benedykt Moczkiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute Dacian Bejenaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wit Dziechciowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, LKS Lodz's Zygmunt Rybak got a free kick in the 37th minute. Wit Dziechciowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dacian Bejenaru's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Dacian Bejenaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wit Dziechciowski. LKS Lodz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dacian Bejenaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Wit Dziechciowski came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Wel Lidzbark's Radoslaw Ziombkowski. But to his dismay, Radoslaw Ziombkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 48 minutes of play, Wel Lidzbark's Lucjan Kocieniewski made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wit Dziechciowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Wel Lidzbark were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefan Wolniewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucjan Kocieniewski got free with Wit Dziechciowski in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Wolniewicz in the 56th minute of play forced Wel Lidzbark's goalkeeper Marcin Bartelak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LKS Lodz's zone, Radoslaw Ziombkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radoslaw Ziombkowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wit Dziechciowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Radoslaw Ziombkowski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 72nd minute. In the 80thth minute of the game Dacian Bejenaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LKS Lodz's Wit Dziechciowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wit Dziechciowski made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Lucjan Kocieniewski sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute Dacian Bejenaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wit Dziechciowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wit Dziechciowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Bejenaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wit Dziechciowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dacian Bejenaru's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Wel Lidzbark left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LKS Lodz.
