With a little luck, LKS Lodz's Wit Dziechciowski got control of the ball when Dacian Bejenaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Dacian Bejenaru lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Wit Dziechciowski. Wel Lidzbark's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Witkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wit Dziechciowski was a little too slow when Roman Witkowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 7-0. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Dacian Bejenaru took a quick shot and it went in 8-0 without a chance for Wit Dziechciowski to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

Wel Lidzbark's Marcin Bartelak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Wolniewicz in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wel Lidzbark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benedykt Moczkiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time LKS Lodz's players had a chance to rest. Wel Lidzbark's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
