Boguslaw Jurgiel started the match with the kick off. Żaby Żnin's Eugenio Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Cuber in the 5th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Boguslaw Jurgiel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Nesto was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Krzysztof Ronaldinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Żaby Żnin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Lucjan Cuber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Eugenio Nesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boguslaw Jurgiel in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Nesto saved Żaby Żnin from getting behind. A collision led to Żaby Żnin getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ali Emir Akatay hit a great ball. Eugenio Nesto came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by HellBoys Sieradz's Iwan Glapiak. But to his dismay, Iwan Glapiak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 35th minute Boguslaw Jurgiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Nesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Jurgiel in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of Żaby Żnin booed when HellBoys Sieradz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Duda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Jaks got free with Jean-Marie Van Landschoot in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to HellBoys Sieradz getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kryspin Kisiel hit a great ball. Krzysztof Ronaldinho, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eugenio Nesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwan Glapiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krzysztof Ronaldinho was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Żaby Żnin's goal looked a bit too open when Iwan Glapiak came free, but Eugenio Nesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, HellBoys Sieradz's Wiktor Witek seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Wiktor Witek the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of HellBoys Sieradz protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wiktor Witek had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Żaby Żnin made a substitution. Boruc Kojder replaced Teofil Koczara. Jean-Marie Van Landschoot had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Krzysztof Ronaldinho's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Marcin Wielgopolski's late challenge caught a HellBoys Sieradz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcin Wielgopolski helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes Żaby Żnin got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Wielgopolski. Lucjan Cuber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eugenio Nesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrzej Cetnar scored 2-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Marie Van Landschoot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eugenio Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Cuber in the 74th minute of play. Lucjan Cuber might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Nesto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucjan Cuber ran back to his position shaking his head. Iwan Glapiak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Nesto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Eugenio Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Cuber in the 79th minute of play. Eugenio Nesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Cuber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Nesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Cuber, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Iwan Glapiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucjan Cuber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Eugenio Nesto made a huge save. Żaby Żnin were victorious despite being under pressure from HellBoys Sieradz for much of the match.
