The audience thought a goal was coming when Bavo Frederickx got free with Metod Volmut in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute Slawomir Dresik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Bornescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Alonzo Sadurni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ludomil Cetnar made in the 19th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dzidris Chan. Metod Volmut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Cauli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Bavo Frederickx reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Metod Volmut. The goal made the score 1-1. After some careless play in the Zawoje SA defense, Eugeniusz Nigbor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gelu Bornescu. The Zawoje SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gelu Bornescu should have stopped the shot. Metod Volmut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Cauli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mieszko Gniewek in the 40th minute of play forced Zawoje SA's goalkeeper Gelu Bornescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gelu Bornescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mieszko Gniewek's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Fabrizio Cauli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zawoje SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrizio Cauli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Metod Volmut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, B-ce Team's Metod Volmut got control of the ball when Alonzo Sadurni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bavo Frederickxs short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Metod Volmut to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half B-ce Team were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bavo Frederickx to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Bavo Frederickx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but B-ce Team's Metod Volmut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. B-ce Team's Metod Volmut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bavo Frederickx in the 55th minute of play. If Alonzo Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gelu Bornescu was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Mieszko Gniewek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mieszko Gniewek really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 76thth minute of the game Bavo Frederickx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but B-ce Team's Metod Volmut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabrizio Cauli might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Metod Volmut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrizio Cauli ran back to his position shaking his head. After 78 played minutes B-ce Team got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Nigbor. Eugeniusz Nigbor hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute of the match Jerzy Biraga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Metod Volmut skillfully saved the ball. Gelu Bornescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Dresik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of B-ce Team booed when Zawoje SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Tylinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. B-ce Team's Julian Luty was substituted for Eugeniusz Nigbor. After 89 played minutes Zawoje SA got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Tylinski. In the 92nd minute, B-ce Team's Julian Luty ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gelu Bornescu. Gelu Bornescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4.
