The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Borys Marud's shot from long distance in the 3rd minute was not bad at all, but Strzegów's Gwidon Biraga knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 6 played minutes RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA got a freekick which was hit by Franciszek Drapinski. Emil Hetman succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After a rather tough play, Strzegów's Dawid Gotfryd got a free kick in the 11th minute. Strzegów's Emil Hetman got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wieslaw Pinczewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Hetman, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Wieslaw Pinczewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Hetman in the 23rd minute of the match. Gwidon Biraga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wladyslaw Fujara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Hetman in the 31st minute of play forced RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's goalkeeper Wieslaw Pinczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA got a freekick which was hit by Borys Marud. The audience held their breath when Witomir Domala in the 37th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Wieslaw Pinczewski's left hand side. Gwidon Biraga was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Borys Marud. If Leonard Hoffman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wieslaw Pinczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maksymilian Gollob, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Strzegów were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Hetman made a kick off. RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Wieslaw Pinczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksymilian Gollob in the 51st minute of play. Mateusz Orlicki's late challenge caught a Strzegów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateusz Orlicki helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Strzegów booed when RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Orlicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gwidon Biraga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wladyslaw Fujara in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Wieslaw Pinczewski got control of the ball when Emil Hetman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 60 minutes, Borys Marud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA and the Strzegów players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Borys Marud hit a great ball. Franciszek Drapinski kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Strzegów:s goal. The goalkeeper, Wieslaw Pinczewski, was totally fooled by Strzegów's Witomir Domala, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Strzegów's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
