With a little luck, Dorren's Stanislaw Derlanga got control of the ball when Waclaw Lamczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maksymilian Jekot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Dorren's Teofil Damazki got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Slawomir Petka came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Active ZDW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slawomir Petka couldn't finish the play. Roland Burdalski charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waclaw Lamczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Stanislaw Derlanga made a huge save. Olaf Badanowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iwan Tyskie made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Iwan Tyskie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykut Balaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorren's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stefan Harbaszewski in the 54th minute. In the 64th minute of the match Active ZDW got a corner. Dorren's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After 70 minutes of play, Active ZDW's Iwo Mleczewski made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A hard shot 80 in the game by Iwan Tyskie from a close distance when the talented Aykut Balaman managed to make a qualified save. Active ZDW's players were relieved. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dorren players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Active ZDW.
