The corner led Mszczyczyn's Ömer Rıza Saip to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucjan Bielejewski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Igor Škarpa came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Concordia Knurów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Škarpa couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Devlet İşcan was the one to do the kick off. Concordia Knurów's Lucjan Bielejewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Concordia Knurów from getting a goal against them. The Mszczyczyn supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mszczyczyn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
